When did you realize you were going to make music professionally?
When I walked into my previous engineer's apartment without permission. I knocked like 3x while he was cooking up the beat to the song called “Miami Heat” by Big Yavo.
His name is Tavis Moore. He’s super hot now . I didn’t even know he stayed there. I was downstairs with this lil get down and asked where that music was coming from upstairs. I thought it was a kickback going on or something.
She told me that it was her neighbor and he has a studio. I hopped up and walked up there to see what the hype was. I was ready to work you could see it in my face,no cap. I knocked on his door ,but he didn't answer,so I walked around to his window where the music was playing from. I thought it was his bedroom and knocked there an still no answer . So I walked in. I was paranoid as hell, but his roommate walked past me with football gear on like he didn't care I was in there . The music was coming from the first bedroom to the left . I was nervous but I was already in the house so I said fuck it and walked in. He was sitting there still tapping his foot and bobbing his head,it was crazy. I walked up and tapped him on the shoulder and gave him everything out of my pocket to record, literally. It was crazy. He knew I was hungry . He engineered and produced my albums “Let Me In” and “Withdraws”
