  • What is your name and what city do you rep?  My name is Jetzxn and I grew up in Birmingham
  • What is unique about you and your music?  My sound is unique due to my upbringing. Alabama doesn't really have a defining sound today and it's led me to be more exposed to all genres. As an artist, it's hard for me to create the same thing and the greatest joy I get from being a creative is experimenting.
  • What shaped your music? 90s hip-hop was what drew me in. I was inspired by the Wu-Tang Clan, Jay-Z, & Biggie.
  • When did you realize you were going to make music professionally?  Before I graduated high school. I knew I didn't want to work a job, I wanted a career. Music became my passion and I'd rather make money doing what I love.
  • What type of music do you listen to?  Today, I mostly listen to R&B but I keep a few of my favorite hip-hop artists in a playlist
  • Who, to you, is the most undervalued music artist? I believe musical a whole is undervalued and subsequently we all are. Especially in the era of streaming.
  • How do you prepare for your performances?  Listening to Biggie and Hov
  • What ignites your (song) writing flow?  A dope beat or deep conversations I have with people
  • What do you do when you don't do music (creative or otherwise) and that you are passionate about?  Directing and editing. I'm in the process of relaunching my gaming YouTube channel and have been streaming Gears5. I also have a few movie scripts and random short story ideas that I toss around when I'm bored
  • Success to you is... Creating avenues to where not only you eating but where your people eat too
  • What do you wish you were told when you first started rapping that you think would help anyone recently starting artists out?  Ask yourself who you are cause if you don't know how can you expect others to see you
