Headbussa Trill and I rep Alexandria Louisiana /Lafayette Louisiana, but I rep for the slums from mine to yours

• What is unique about you and your music?

I make Music for the slums. I'm a speaker for slums. It's deeper than Music for me.

• What shaped your music?

I grew up around music my big brother was a rapper, my big cousin was a rapper & my uncle sang. I idolized The Hot boys , Webbie, Boosie, Tec & Mo3, These artists shaped my sound.

• When did you realize you were going to make music professionally?

 I really took it seriously when I got my LLC. I was always passionate about music it has been my peace.

• Who is the most undervalued artist?

I’d say it’s a lot of undervalued artists especially in Louisiana. I'm going to say say Tec, Huncho Yolo, Spitta, and Lee Banks.

• How do you prepare for your performances?

I just go with the flow . When I grab the mic it’s just a different world lol

• What ignites your songwriting flow?

Shit, I am just being creative and listening to the instruments and melody . I just be playing with it. 

• What do you do when you don't do music (creative or otherwise) and that you are passionate about?

I research knowledge. Besides music I hustle and continue to grind when I’m not doing music.

• Success to you is...

Success to me is when you can show generational wealth. If I was to leave earth today or tomorrow, I would like the things I accomplished to continue through generations and be everlasting.

• What do you wish you were told when you first started rapping that you think would help anyone recently starting artists out?

 I wish I would’ve known that learning the business side is just as important as focusing on creating music. Also, that investing into yourself is a big part of it.

• Any upcoming projects?

Yea,I’m finishing up my ep "Sticking to the Stripy" and working on an album entitled 

"Baptized in the Slums".
