Alex E

  • What is your name and what city do you rep?

My name is Alex E and I represent the city of Oneonta,Al.

  • What is unique about you and your music?

My music is very hello bitch it's me where is my crown at kind of style. It's not picture perfect. My photos tend to be picture perfect but when it comes to my music I like destruction, pain, sadness and confidence to show in my music

  • What shaped your music?

Writing music as a 13 year old and just doing it for fun most definitely let me get pass the picture perfect songs and got me started on finding my style of music. I started off with pop/rock then went into dubstep/house. Also, having a Spanish background open so many more doors for me. So, far as being able to enter exclusive Spanish genres like 3ball. A style at the time that was popular in the Spanish culture.

  • When did you realize you were going to make music professionally? When I wanted to tell a story... my story. Not just dance music.
  • What type of music do you listen to?

I listen to a lot of dubstep, pop, emo pop, k-pop, r & b, country, Latin, etc..

  • Who, to you, is the most undervalued music artist?

Wow! Their is so many undervalued artist that I believe have made some magic. Kelzhaunne, P429, Myth, Kate Brunotts, Zuhvaluh, Osmusww, Cody Guerrero their just so many artist that deserve a bigger platform.

  • How do you prepare for your performances? I actually have never performed any of my songs. I have danced in a some shows and have also choreographed/danced in others but when it comes to dance I always try not to eat too much like 5 hours before the show starts cause you don't want to vomit. Ain't nobody's want to smell like your bloody breakfast.
  • What ignites your (song) writing flow?

Sadness, anger, watching a movie, or just going partying automatically just makes my mind play a rhyme.

What do you do when you don't do music (creative or otherwise) and that you are passionate about? I have a YouTube Channel where I post every Friday! I also did choreography for awhile.

  • Success to you is... happiness

What do you wish you were told when you first started rapping that you think would help anyone recently starting artists out? I usually sing but I have one rap song. But don't listen to bullshit and also don't just rap tell a story through rap. Everybody loves a good story.

  • Any upcoming projects? I'm actually working on a couple of songs. I only have three that are ready for release. One is actually my first country song, another is a black house song and the last one is a dubstep/black house.
  • Where do we find you music / music project?

You can find my music on Spotify, Apple Music, Google Play, YouTube, and Emusic.
